LJIdol Week 27: Once Upon a Time
Rated PG-13 for violence, death, mild blood (nothing gory).
*( Warnings for violence and death, some blood, though nothing gory. Rated PG-13 )
*
This was loosely inspired by The Twelve Dancing Princesses, although I doubt the Brothers Grimm would recognize the story in its current incarnation.

jem0000000 prefers her men a little less scaly -- but then, she's not a wyvern, either. :)

LJ has finally released an official comment on the changes in English.
LJIdol Week 25: Cesspool
Warning: minor character(s) death(s). Nothing graphic.
This is an intersection with
yachiru, whose entry can be found here. They may be read in any order (and I will link at bottom as well as top).

Edited (just so y'all know): to add Yachiru's link in, as her entry was not yet online when I left for work.

I'm doing a bit of a twist to this week's entry, and it needs looking over by someone who doesn't know what I'm doing already, to make sure the reveal is in the right spot and obvious enough without being too obvious. :)
Is anyone available? It's a teensy bit on the creepy side and does involve some deaths. No blood, though.

Questions: Who do you think is the murderer? What made you think that (like, at which point in the story)?
What do you think is going on with the accidents?

I'm just going to put out this PSA:
Livejournal Scrapbook is going away and will be replaced by the mysterious "Photo Album". Your 10GB of Paid Member space is now 2GB. If you care, there is an explanation in Russian on the Russian news page. There's also a user-submitted translation.
+ You will no longer have access to your Scrapbook once this goes live.
+ Your images will redirect, but the URL will be different.
+ Unable to tell what will happen to any photos you have that put you over the 2GB limit.
+ Back up your Scrapbook just in case.
+ If you want your photos transferred over now instead of waiting, let them know here.

Does anyone know anything about film noir? Mostly I'm wondering, if I were to watch two or three movies representative of the genre, what would I pick to watch?
I'm read Wikipedia and mostly know what it is, but I don't really want to watch absolutely every movie Wikipedia references, and I do want to watch at least one. Wikipedia doesn't do recommended watching lists, so....
Any recommendations? Something film noir that's good, even if not representative of the genre?
